These are produced by joining silica-base material and carbon in an electric resistance furnace then by crushing, milling, treating with chemicals, washing and screening to the desired particle size.

NGC (Green Silicon Carbide)

This product is produced by using Green crystallized SiC, minimum content 99.5%. It is designed for use in lapping and sawing applications where precision finishes are required such as cutting and lapping quartz crystals, single crystal ferrite and alumina ceramics. Also it uses as a base materials for modern ceramics.

 

 

NC (Black Silicon Carbide)

This product is produced by using Black crystallized SiC, minimum content 98.5%. It is widely used in refractory to precision industries because it is extremely high in hardness and tuffness. It is mainly used in bonded and coated abrasive products for the automobile Industory, steel Industory and also for the electronic Industory in items such as aluminum magnetic discs and magnetic heads.

These are produced by processing Alumina or bauxite in an electric furnace then by crushing, milling, treating with chemicals, washing and screening to the desired particle size.

WA (White Fused Alumina)

This product is manufactured from Al2O3, minimum content 99.7% crystals.
It is suitable for making vitrified grinding wheels for special hard steel with high tensile strenghth, metalloid materials. It is also used for specific refactory applications.

 

A (Brown Fused Alumina)

This product is manufactured from Al2O3, minimum content 97.0%.
It is mainly used for precision lapping and optical finishing.

1. About Nanko Emery (AE)
Nanko Emery (AE) is a gray-black man-made abrasive mainly composed of crushed aluminum oxide.

Nanko Emery is highly evaluated for its stable quality world wide.

2. Characteristic
Nanko Emery is high in hardness, toughness and has function of self-sharpening. It is of high efficiency and excellent durability.
Nanko Emery is virtually impurity-free, thus its clean surface combines well with various binders and maintains long life.
